Welcome to Indigo Palms Way

Welcome to the Indigo Palms Way Blog.

While still living the vacation/retirement lifestyle, I am excited to be getting back to my working roots and producing our neighborhood blog/message center. Here you will be able to view information pertaining to our Indigo Hall community, with emphases on new members, fun tidbits about our pets, local information pertaining to our surrounding area communities and wildlife, and maybe just a hint on controversial happenings...not too controversial, maybe.

As of now, my thought is to produce a monthly blog, but can be flexible and if important information needs to be published, can become twice a month or even weekly.

In the next few weeks or so, I'll be seeking some information, ideas, area photos, etc. to begin our new community blog. Just to share a few ideas....

1. New Members - Here we can highlight a new family or individual who recently moved into our community. Perhaps their names, where they moved from, or still live (if part time resident), hobbies, etc. I think we can include renters as well.

2. Pet of the Month - Here, a photograph and a small blurb about some of our members pets can be featured.

3. Community News - Any pertinent news for or about Indigo Hall at Kiawah River Estates.

4. Photo of the Month - Anyone who has a great scenic photo they want to share; perhaps, vacation photos, pictures of a beautiful area during a walk, wildlife, your niece, or grandson.... We will give you a byline. Just tell us where it was taken, and by whom.

5. Lead Stories - Any major story or editorial that may be pertinent to the community or surrounding areas. The lead story may also be an informative article about health concerns, aggressive weather situations, insurance and other topics.

These are just to name a few. Ideas are welcome.

Our community has been called the Hidden Gem of Johns Island, and I believe it is true. Yes, we have our disagreements and difference of opinions, but all neighborhoods do. Keeping our community informed on events, laughing at the goofy stuff we do, and being able to help out our neighbors is what this blog is about.

Any question? please contact me....
